It was a quick and easy interview process, focused on competency-based questions. I spoke with two really nice people in a panel interview, and it felt pretty laid-back. They asked general competency questions and we discussed managing competing tasks under pressure. I found out about this role through an agency referral.

The interview process is quite long, about 3.5 hours, so make sure you're ready. I actually had to stop the interview early because they were asking for a commitment to excessive overtime. People who work there, both during the interview and on Glassdoor, mention that overtime is really a lot. I was told to expect 80-hour work weeks, days where you only get 2-3 hours of sleep, and some nights you'll be working until 1 or 2 am. On the plus side, the Associates and Partners seem pretty nice. They'll want to know about your past experience and if you can manage a huge amount of work.

The interview started with the office manager, lasting about 30 minutes. She asked some standard questions. It wasn't super tough, but I assume the partner interview would be more structured and challenging. The firm seems pretty relaxed, with partners reportedly wearing flip-flops in the office during summer. The reception staff were very helpful.
