Quincy Compressor Interview Questions
& Process

So, the interview process kicked off on November 28, 2023, with a remote chat with the Branch Manager. Then, within five days total, I had a second interview with the Branch Manager and my department's team leader. The third interview was with the HR Manager for my area. Right after that, I got an offer letter and the background check forms. About a week later, I got the drug testing and minor physical forms. The whole thing took about 30 days, and the HR Manager did mention it might take a while and to hang in there.

The interview process was really long. I had to do a bunch of personality tests first. Then I had a phone interview, and after that, an in-person one. I never heard back after the in-person interview, and only found out I didn't get the job from an automated email about a month later.

I got a call from them about jobs, then I was invited for an in-person interview. Quincy Compressor is a nice place to work, like a family. Everyone helps each other out to get work done well. People will help other departments if they need it. They are in a small town in south Alabama near Mobile. I met with five different people all day in interviews. They seemed to want people who really knew about air compressors. People can move between departments there. They have parties sometimes to keep spirits up. It looks like a good company.

The interview process was really chill and open. It started with a 30-minute phone chat where I talked about my work history and how I approach my job. They also gave me a rundown of the company. After that, I had to take a test on mechanical and spatial skills. About a week later, they let me know if I was moving on to an in-person interview with the Field Service Delivery Manager and Branch Manager. I got to ask a bunch of questions, and they were super honest with their answers, even admitting when they didn't know something but promising to get back to me. They did follow up with answers to any lingering questions I had after both the screening and the sit-down. The office meeting ended with a verbal job offer, and I got the official paperwork a few days later. The whole thing from the initial call to getting the offer took about a month. They seem like they want to hire people for the long haul. The offer was a bit less than I expected, but I took it because of the chances to grow and move up.
