Applied online, then got a call about two weeks later. I went to the main office for the interview. They started by showing a quick video about the company. After that, I took a math test on a computer (remember to bring a pen!). They give you scratch paper there. If you do really well on the test, they give you some papers to fill out and then you come back for an interview with a recruiter. It's a basic interview with about eight questions. They talk about the company and check if you can handle all the tasks in the store. They also give you a free drink coupon and a paper detailing the job specs. Then they tell you to go check out a QuikTrip to see what the store's vibe is like. It wasn't a bad interview, pretty quick.

I applied online and didn't hear back for two weeks. Since my number had changed, I decided to apply in person at a Quiktrip corporate office in Atlanta with my updated number. I handed in a paper application specifying I had recently applied and was updating my phone number. Applying in person is recommended. I made a good impression and asked questions so the person taking my application would remember me when she gave it to HR. I got a call the next morning (Thursday) and was asked to come in for an interview on Friday, which I agreed to and it went well. They started with a 20-question math test. The interviewer asked good questions, and it helps to memorize your resume or bring copies in a professional folder. After that, I waited a week, which was tough. Finally, they called and offered me the position. I was ecstatic. Be professional and remember you're selling yourself. Put yourself in the interviewer's position: would you hire you? If not, how can you improve? Wording is everything.

I applied online and about 5 days later, they called me back to come in for an interview at their corporate office. Once I got there, they had me wait for a computer to take a math test. Just so you know, the math test isn't super hard, but it could be tricky if you're not great with math or haven't practiced it in a while. Don't underestimate it; it makes you think (like 2.77 X 27, can you do that fast?). So, brush up on division, multiplication, adding big numbers, counting change, and word problems, and you'll do fine. After the test, if you get a perfect score, you'll have an interview. This interview is straightforward, mainly to get to know your personality. It was chill and not stressful. Make sure to talk about customer service being your top priority and give examples of when you went the extra mile for a customer. Also, say that you know this job involves long hours and being on your feet, and that you're okay with that. If not, this job isn't for you. After the interview, they said they'd do a background check and asked about anything on my record. I have some old stuff from 6 years ago, not work-related, but be honest, and it probably won't hurt you depending on what it was. They also gave me a form right away for a drug test (if you get this at the interview, you're basically in if you pass). I took the test the next day and got a job offer the morning after. I started the very next day.
