The CEO spoke with me over 4 phone calls, lasting a total of 6 hours. He asked me to share confidential details about a competitor where I previously worked. He was unclear about the role, switching between offering a full-time position and contract work. After I provided my contract rates and a project proposal, he made an offer that was 40% lower than my requested rate, which was already competitive. It seems he has about 5 overseas contractors handling his paid campaigns, and his marketing team is disorganized, inexperienced, and fragmented. I also found out they were previously associated with Corinthian College, so be careful. I'm offended and appalled. This explains their lack of success despite being in business longer than many of their main competitors.

My interview experience for the HR Manager position was in Athens, Greece. I dealt with a recruiter who was unprofessional. She gave me an assessment with 9 tests and a 5-day deadline. I completed the assessment, which was time-consuming, and submitted it before the deadline. She scheduled an interview for the next day. I provided my availability a day and a half later, but she never responded. I sent a follow-up email after a few days, but still got no reply. I would have been okay with failing the assessment or being deemed not a fit if she had just responded and given some feedback, respecting the effort I put into the evaluation.

I really liked how fast they got back to me after I applied. They used AI to screen applications, which was cool. I applied through Linkedin easy apply, saw my resume was viewed the next day, and got a response right away. I even scheduled an AI interview, all within 24 hours.

It was a 20 minute phone interview to get a feel for my personality. Then a one on one interview that was basically a run through of my resume and questions about my technical skills. I didn't need to know much about SharePoint or advanced SQL Server.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Nothing difficult was asked.
