Group Technical Presentation

I went through an assessment center (AC) which included a group task, a technical task, and an individual speech on a free topic. The technical task wasn't super hard but there was a lot of information to get through in just one hour.

Had some basic online testing before being invited to an online assessment centre. People at the centre seemed really nice, had to do a presentation and group exercise before a case study excel task. Bit complicated to understand what they were asking and you have to work really quickly.

I really recommend not applying unless you're desperate. It's a long, overly complicated process that's insulting with how many hoops they make you jump through. There were three pre-tests, a full day assessment centre, and then another interview on top of that. I figured it was 20 hours in their various assessments in total. 20 hours? After the final interview, they sent a 300-word email saying sorry, but they were looking for the complete package. They also try to sell you on what the company is, before hinting later that they're moving away from the flexibility and travel they previously offered.
