The interview process was pretty standard with a cultural fit part, a technical evaluation, and a panel interview. However, it wasn't clear what their specific expectations were. The interviews were postponed multiple times, making me feel like I was just a formality while they considered other people.

The Car Wash hiring process is pretty straightforward and usually happens in the manager's office at the store. Most people find it easy and chill, and most get job offers super fast, like within a day or two. It's more about seeing if you're a good fit personality-wise and if you meet the basic requirements, not really about tough technical stuff. The interviewers are usually really nice and make you feel comfortable. They're looking for people who are honest and get things done, so the questions are simple and direct, just checking your work ethic and how you handle customers.

The whole process was basically an open interview event at one of their locations from 10 am to 12 pm. I showed up right on time but still had to wait outside in heels for almost an hour, so definitely consider your outfit. Also, a heads-up for men or those who grow facial hair: you have to be clean-shaven to work here. The manager explicitly stated that if you're unwilling to shave, you should leave, as it's against policy. The actual chat with the interviewers was pretty relaxed, kind of like talking to a teacher or friend, not intimidating at all. There were two interviewers. They're looking for people who are smart, kind, and determined – these keywords are super important! Just be your authentic self, be kind, be real, don't undersell yourself but stay humble. Try to be unique and stand out from the others by observing them and figuring out how you can be different.

The interview process was really something else. They even offered me a drink, which was a first for me. It was a great start and set the tone for what working here is like. Everyone has been really friendly and listened to what I had to say. They made an effort to get to know me, and it's been awesome working here so far. All my colleagues are great and supportive, and I feel like I have a good team behind me.
