Senior Software Engineer
It was a 2 round interview process. The first round was a technical interview focusing on frontend development, covering topics like security, app scaling, frameworks & libraries, and common JavaScript questions. The second round was a behavioral interview assessing problem-solving and communication skills.
- How would you handle a situation where a colleague suggests a different method for solving the same issue?
- Could you describe common security vulnerabilities on the frontend and how to mitigate them?
- What are JavaScript closures and can you provide an example?
Software Engineer
The interview process was good and the company is employee friendly. The interviewer was respectful, and the team members were helpful. The HR team was also very supportive throughout the process.
- Can you explain what a lookup is?
- What distinguishes a lookup from a joiner?
Software Engineer
Had two technical interviews. The first was about C++, OOPs, and Smart Pointers, asking basic questions and to write a stack using a queue. The second technical interview involved a Smart Pointer question, a linked list question, and differences between QT's QVector and Vector. Also asked how to create a window in QT. The interviewer was polite. I was rejected after both rounds, which seemed to be going smoothly and I answered everything, but they didn't share the results.
- Write a stack using two queues.
- Implement your own smart pointers.
- Find a loop in a linked list.
