Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Quest Software.
Inside Sales Representative
I interviewed with two senior people who recently came from the US to help set up the local operation. Unlike other places I've interviewed, they were really down-to-earth and it wasn't a difficult interview. They didn't grill me on my CV much, just the bits that mattered. I heard they were asking tougher questions like about weaknesses to other candidates, but not to me. It was just one round.
- What is your understanding of Quest?
Sales Representative
I had three interviews. First was with the recruiter, then the sales manager, and finally the sales director. The whole process was pretty chill, they made me feel like a person. Each interview was short, about 10-15 minutes. I got the offer letter the same day after talking to the sales director.
- What are you seeking in your next role?
- Could you walk me through your previous experiences?
- Describe a time you encountered roadblocks and how you navigated them.
BDR Representative
The interview process was very disorganized and lacked structure. I also didn't really connect with the interviewers. I would not recommend interviewing or working here. There was no real connection with the interviewers, and they looked at me like I was a future sweatshop worker.
- Can you describe yourself using only three words?
