It was a multi-stage process with a recruiter, manager, and director involved. Some interviews were virtual and some were in person. The company is owned by a private equity firm and they care about commuting, depending on the job.

Behavioral Presentation

The whole process took about a week. All the interviews felt conversational, aiming to really get my mindset and understand what I bring to the table. They were also transparent about the CS departments at the company. There were 2 online interviews and then one onsite. Even though the company has a history, the CS department is pretty new, so there's a really fresh outlook from the middle management and the team.

Behavioral Technical

After making it to the final round, I had an on-site interview with two people. The discussion and questions felt disorganized, and it seemed like they were exhausted from interviewing. Up until this point, the communication, coordination, and web interviews were positive. At the end of the on-site interview, the HR Director said they'd make a quick hiring decision and that I could expect an update the following week. However, I didn't receive any update that week, and despite following up with the HR rep twice, I was ghosted. When you reach the final round and invest half your day in an on-site interview, the least Quest could do is inform candidates if they weren't selected. I've read interview reviews with similar negative experiences, and I won't waste any more of my time pursuing opportunities with this company.
