So I had one of the worst experiences with Quest Global, seriously a waste of time. First, there was a screening round where the HR asked some questions and we talked about salary. Then, a tough one-hour technical and coding interview, which I passed. After that, they called saying I was selected and we'd move to the final round for salary discussion. The HR round was where we agreed on X LPA. I asked for an extra 50k during negotiation, and they never got back to me for two days. Finally, on the third day, an SMS said my experience wasn't enough and they could only offer 40% less than what we initially agreed on. I already had an offer for X-2 LPA, which I mentioned at the start. Really disappointing and unprofessional. Doesn't feel like a place with good values.

The interview process started with a written test, which was multiple-choice based and had core Java questions. If shortlisted, there was a technical interview. The whole process is super slow, taking up most of the day. Each interview lasted at least an hour. My written test was cleared by 1 PM, but the technical round didn't start until 6:30 PM, which was quite a wait. After the technical interview, the interviewer asked if any further rounds were needed, and if so, they would call. Two weeks later, the HR called to say I was shortlisted, and asked about my salary expectations and notice period. Finally, an offer letter was sent via email.

Went for a Java interview in Hyderabad. Cleared the written test and two technical rounds, but got no response after following up. It was a pathetic and bad experience, just a waste of valuable time. Consultancies force you to attend interviews, and finally, these people interview just for time pass. They are not sure what they want. Maybe they are looking for cheap resources/slaves. Not sure if they have a requirement or are just interviewing as many as possible. They should change their approach and state what they really need.
