Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Quess.
Senior Software Engineer
It was a 3-round process. It included a client round, then HR, and a direct interview with the client was mandatory. Sometimes a face-to-face round was also required. The first round was screening, followed by two technical rounds, then the client round, and finally the HR round.
- Were the technical questions related to the client's needs?
Java Software Developer
After receiving an email, I had a technical interview scheduled for the very next day. The interview itself was quite smooth, and the interviewer was very polite, making for a relaxed experience.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- Which programming language do you feel most comfortable with?
- Can you elaborate on your preferred programming language?
Software Engineer
I had one technical round, mainly focused on core Java. They asked 2 or 3 questions on Spring Boot RESTful API. After that, they took some of my details and sent me an offer letter. The difficulty was average. So, focus on Core Java. For me, no coding questions were asked, but they did ask a MYSQL query to find the second maximum salary.
- Can you explain the difference between ArrayList and LinkedList?
- What are the new features introduced in Java 8?
- Could you describe the methods available in the Stream API?
