The process was quick and respectful. I had an initial recruiter call, followed by a pre-screening. Then, I interviewed online with the College courses manager, who asked about my views on academic integrity and my values as an instructor.

Had to submit a writing sample, then had a personal interview. Discussed my past tutoring experience. It was just one meeting with the person in charge. We talked about my experience tutoring English and language. It went well, wasn’t too bad! The main thing is being able to show you have good language skills and good communications skills and can make people feel comfortable.

After applying online, I had an in-person interview where I was asked about my basic computer skills, experience with donors and fundraising events, and experience writing appeals/proposals. It was a pretty straightforward interview since it's an entry-level role. I might have had to submit a writing sample. Then there was a group interview with different team members, and finally, an interview with the Assistant Vice President.

Two people interviewed me and asked different questions. At the end, they asked if I had any questions. I asked about the union since they mentioned it. The only real perks for this job are health benefits. They took forever, 3 weeks after the interview to leave a voicemail saying I didn't get the job but was impressed by my skills, like ok really that's all you're going to say.
