It began with a 20-30 minute phone screen with a recruiter about my background, interest in Quartzy, and the job. Then, a few days later, I got a take-home assessment to gauge my technical background. The next week, I had a Skype call with the hiring manager, followed by an on-site interview the week after that. I had two one-on-one meetings with the founders (CEO and COO) and two two-on-one meetings with people from different teams. Everything went well, and I heard back within a day or two about the next steps. The team was welcoming, and I felt comfortable. I missed out on chatting with many employees due to a big meeting during lunch, but I got a good look at the challenges Quartzy is tackling and their growth plans. The interviews weren't too tough, and there were no tricky questions; it was more about seeing if I'd fit the culture and how my background aligned with the company. Talking with the founders made me really excited about the company's mission and the chance to make a positive impact.

Since I was interviewing from out of state, they covered my travel and a hotel stay. I got to have lunch with the team, which was a great way to see how everyone interacts, and it gave me a real feel for the company. This transparency was super helpful since I was considering a big move. My overall experience was really positive. The recruiter was always available and answered my questions quickly. By the end, I had a clear picture of the company culture and the job details. They also did a good job of getting me excited about where Quartzy is headed.
