First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Quantum Spatial.
Geospatial Analyst
It was a phone interview set up between two different offices. The hiring manager, who seemed young, was talking super fast, like 1,000 miles an hour, really energetic and wanting to end the call quickly. I felt rushed and didn't really get a chance to talk about myself much. They bragged about their three-company merger, but it's actually a small company. They don't have enough work to hire people who don't already have an active clearance. It wasn't a good experience at all!
- Can you tell me about your biggest weakness?
Sales Representative
Really great initial process that was ultimately bogged down with scheduling. Completely understandable scheduling issues but felt the process a bit unaligned with job description. Directors I interviewed with were great and really easy conversations. Can tell that QSI has some very intelligent and consciences leaders. Bummed I didnt have the requisite experience but will apply again when they realize they missed a massive resource in me...:)
- Can you explain any gaps in your employment history?
Remote Sensing Analyst
The interview process kicked off with a first meeting involving two managers. It felt pretty casual and friendly. They offered me some water, shared their thoughts on working at the company, and asked about my ideas for contributing. They also checked my technical skills, my grasp of the technologies the company uses, and my teamwork abilities. Following that, there was a second interview with more staff members.
- What makes you want to work for this company?
Intern
They reached out to set up the interview about a month after I sent in my application. The very next day, we had our interview over Zoom. They went over what the job was about, asked me some questions, and then let me ask some questions too.
- Could you share an instance of a repetitive task you completed previously and how you maintained your focus?
- What is Lidar, in your own words?
- What motivated your decision to apply to Quantum Spatial?
