The interview process was super quick and easy. It started with a call with Jonathan Holmes, a Talent Partner, who gave me a good overview of Quantexa and helped me figure out if it was a good fit. The best part was that the team had recently decided to simplify things. So, after my first call, I went straight to the last stage. There, I presented some of my case studies to the design team and got to ask them questions about the products, the team, and the company culture. This meant no typical competency questions, no take-home assignment, or any other hoops to jump through, which was great because those things take up a lot of time. I did ask for an extra 45 minutes the following day to ask any remaining questions, and the lead designer, Mark, was totally fine with that. All in all, it was a really good experience.

I didn't get the job, but Quantexa's hiring was good - fast and fair. Unlike other tech companies that drag things out, they were quick. It started with a 30-min call with the Talent Partner about the job, the company, my background, and why I want this job. The person was nice and prepared. Then, a 2-hour in-person interview at their office: a 1-hour case study presentation, a 30-min product demo, and a 30-min Q&A with the Head of Design and a Senior Product Designer. It was a bit tough but useful. They gave me feedback from the Head of Design when they said no, which was fair. We actually agreed it wasn't the right fit. It's great they didn't make it a long, annoying process like some others; they kept it short and human.

Had an HR chat first. Then a portfolio review with a senior designer and the head of the team. I had to prep and show 1-2 projects. They also demoed the product and asked some questions.
