First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Quantech Services.
Cost Estimator
They reached out pretty quick after I applied. First, they talked about the company and the job, looked at my resume, and then asked some questions. Some of these were about a made-up situation at work to see how I'd respond and handle problems.
- Which quantitative course from college did you like the most?
Administrative Specialist
I met with the Operations Manager and Director of Midwest Operations at their regional office in the conference room for about an hour. They talked about how the Midwest Operations supports Wright-Patterson AFB and the big picture of Quantech's services to the DoD. It was pretty relaxed since they liked my resume and were sure I'd be a good fit.
- What experience do you have that would benefit Quantech and this role?
- What are your thoughts on working with Senior Military and Civil Service Leadership?
- What is your 3-5 year career outlook?
Security Specialist
This was a pretty chill interview. I'm sure each hiring manager does things a bit differently, but this interviewer was super easy to talk to and just wanted to get to know me. Don't expect them to know tons about the specifics of your job since that's more the government supervisor's area. It felt like they were checking for character traits and if I met the requirements the government laid out. Definitely not something to stress over, the manager was honest and friendly.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What are your future goals?
Cost Specialist
The hiring process moved very quickly since it was an open position, and the entire thing wrapped up in just two weeks. I spoke with very nice and professional people, and it was a pleasant interview experience overall. There weren't any tough questions, it was more about making sure I was a good fit and could handle the math aspects of the job. They offer great benefits that are also inexpensive. The training program is about a year long and seems pretty thorough.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in Quantech and this particular field?
