The interview process was pretty straightforward with standard questions. It started with one phone interview, followed by an in-person interview. I got the offer within about a week and took it.

I was contacted by their recruiter after applying. I mentioned I was a bit more senior than the role, but went to the team interview anyway. It seemed to go okay, but then they seemed rushed because another candidate was waiting, and the manager seemed to want to wrap up quickly. I heard nothing afterward, and the recruiter ghosted my email, leaving me hanging for weeks without closure. The recruiter even promised a tour and to meet me, but never showed up! He liked my work but then just dismissed me and ghosted. Wild.

I started with a phone screening with the recruiter, which went well. They then scheduled me for an interview the following week. I met with six people from the HR team. Most of them were more interested in getting to know me than asking a lot of questions, which was nice. I think they were checking for culture fit. I went in nervous but left feeling really confident. The interviews were about 45 minutes long, with one or two interviewers at a time. I was supposed to meet with the VP of HR, but she had an unexpected visitor and couldn't make it. They said they'd contact me to reschedule that meeting, but they didn't. An internal candidate ended up applying and got the job, so congratulations to them! The interviewers really made the company look good, and I still think it would be a great place to work.

My first interview with Quanta Infrastructure Services Group went well. The recruiter knew the role and was friendly. I was pleased to learn the next day that I was selected for an interview with the Director, though it was quickly changed to the Manager. During the second interview, the Director was late and left early. There wasn't much enthusiasm about the role either, as this happened during a holiday week. This is the second time I've interviewed with a Quanta company and had a bad experience; the other one was Dashiell.
