Behavioral Technical

The interview process was straightforward and well structured. It started with an initial screening call to discuss background, role expectations, and basic fit. This was followed by one or two technical or role-specific interview rounds focusing on skills, experience, and problem-solving approach. The final round involved a discussion with senior team members or management around real-world scenarios and culture fit. Overall, the process was professional, clear, and communication was timely throughout.

Behavioral

This was the worst interview experience in my 10+ year career. The interviewer was over 20 minutes late with no apologies, claiming to be running over from meetings, just like the previous interviewer for the phone screen. This company doesn't respect candidates' time. After being late, the interviewer didn't even come to meet me in person for the onsite, despite being next door, and instead set up a Teams meeting. The whole interview felt like an interrogation, with no introduction to herself or the job, and no chance to ask questions. She then abruptly ended the interview due to a fire alarm. From this experience, I can tell this is a toxic company that disrespects its employees.

First, you'll need to give a quick intro about yourself and talk about your past design work and how you see yourself contributing to Quanta in the future. Make sure to highlight skills or projects that show you're good at what you do and fit with what Quanta is looking for. Also, come up with three good questions to ask the manager about the team, what projects you might work on, or how you can grow. During the Q&A part, don't forget to ask about pay, benefits, and any programs for career development.

Group Case Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with a group interview with 4 interviewers and 5 applicants. We were given a case study, which was a group discussion in Mandarin for 25 minutes on estimating the number of tissues needed to cover Taiwan, followed by a 5-minute group presentation in English. They might ask about the discussion, like why you agreed with someone's idea. Right after that, there was a 1-on-1 interview with HR for about an hour, covering basic career plan questions like graduate school plans. They were really nice and friendly, creating a relaxed atmosphere to get to know you better. If you passed that, the next stage was a 30-minute 1-on-1 with the BU manager. It involved a self-introduction and basic resume questions, with a focus on introducing the job and the BU. I had to state my short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals at Quanta in English. After that, there was a group interview with the BU VP, which was kind of awkward with 4 interviewers and 16 applicants. We all introduced ourselves one by one, taking nearly an hour. Then, interviewers randomly asked about beneficial personal traits for the job and some questions required individual answers, but most people didn't get enough chances to speak. The final stage was a group interview with the HR manager, one interviewer, and three applicants. It felt like a pressure test, where the interviewer seemed unsatisfied with any answer. They asked resume questions but more industry-focused, like asking me to explain something related to my advertising agency experience. We were encouraged to give opinions, but they might interrupt.
