I sent in my application online, likely through LinkedIn, and got an automated response setting up a recruiter call. After that chat, I was scheduled for a second interview with two people I would've been working with, which happened about two weeks after I applied. The interviews themselves weren't anything special. They mainly asked about my past jobs, no real curveballs. In the end, I heard back that they weren't moving forward with me. It's pretty unusual to actually get a response after interviewing these days; usually it's just an automated rejection after the resume review.

Julianne from the company reached out via email and was very professional, setting up an interview. The whole process moved really fast. I met with Daniel, the QA Manager. He was a really professional and kind person, the type who gets straight to the point, which I liked. We started with some general questions about my problem-solving abilities, my strengths, and my weaknesses. Then, he asked me which programming language I felt most proficient in. He showed me a binder with some code and asked me to figure out the expected output. I totally messed that part up. Daniel was nice enough to go through the solution with me, and I could tell he genuinely wanted to help. He did mention that my current understanding wasn't quite at the level needed for the role, which was fair. As I was leaving, he wished me luck. Despite not getting the job, it was a positive experience overall.

The interview experience was okay, though I felt they interviewed too many people for the position. It seemed like they could have screened applicants better beforehand. I did feel like I was being drilled with repetitive questions, and they made assumptions about my interests without getting to know me. The interviewer took over and kept asking the same questions, which didn't sit well with me. If they value a certain culture, they should ask questions that support that. Overall, I thought the interview went well, and I was well-qualified. I actually found a new job the following week. The process wasn't very efficient for this role.

There’s a 20-minute interview screening with the Human Resources hiring manager over-the-phone. After speaking about the role, it’s a role where you are expected to be the only accessibility subject matter expert. There is no accessibility department and lack of internal mentorship and support. There was ample time for questions. 1 week email response after the screening interview.
