Associate Software Engineer
It was a nice interview experience. The office staff and HR were very friendly, making it a nice place to work for freshers. It's a good chance to grow in your career and learn new skills.
- Can you tell us about your college?
Social Media Manager
They asked how I use social media for customer service, mentioning you can talk to customers directly, check analytics on their response, and connect with influencers who might be customers. They also said most employers like to see that you can engage in conversation and have examples of customer outreach. Social media analytics can also show how healthy the company is. Then we talked about measuring social media ROI, and they mentioned tools like Facebook's Conversion Measurement tool and Optimized CPM, plus website analytics and platform-specific ones like LinkedIn's. The basic metrics are similar to other marketing areas, like clicks, likes, shares, purchases, and changes in attitude. They also asked about the advantages of using tools like Hootsuite and TweetDeck. I explained Hootsuite offers a dashboard to manage all channels, schedule posts, track data, find leads, and work with a team. TweetDeck is similar but just for Twitter. SproutSocial was mentioned too, for its inbox-style message and engagement management. For a LinkedIn Page, they said it should be informative since people are already interested in the company. They emphasized the value of original, fun, and shareable video content that isn't too promotional upfront, but so good people want to share it. This video content should also link to other social media platforms and help the overall strategy and marketing.
- Could you tell me which social media platforms you're most proficient with and explain your reasons why?
Communication Specialist
Quadrant recruiters have reached out multiple times about communication roles, mentioning they found me on LinkedIn and that my skills align with their client's needs. Each time, they said they wanted to arrange an interview with the client, but then they'd offer excuses like the client being unresponsive, scheduling conflicts, or the client re-evaluating the role but still wanting me. My attempts to follow up via email and phone calls to Quadrant have been ignored. It feels like a dishonorable business practice.
- Could you elaborate on your background and experience?
Healthcare Associate
You can apply to a lot of jobs on your own without needing to go through this company! The recruiter calls you constantly, and when you do go to their corporate office, you're put in front of a bunch of Account Managers who keep putting you down and insulting your experience, especially if you already have a college degree. They try to get you to accept the lowest pay possible and don't encourage you when you say that you want to advance in your career.
- Why are you unwilling to accept the same compensation you earned in your previous role?
