First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Quadgen Wireless.
RF Engineer
I had two technical rounds and one HR round. The questions were pretty basic and covered Analog, Digital, and Wireless Communication. The first tech round focused on my fundamental understanding of Wireless, Analog, and Digital Comms. The second round had some more complex and conditional questions, but I managed to answer them all.
- Could you explain PSK, QPSK, QAM, and GMSK?
- What distinguishes 2G, 3G, and 4G?
- Can you elaborate on Circuit Switching versus Packet Switching?
RF Engineer
The interview process involved two technical rounds and one HR round. The first technical round focused on 3G, 4G, and antennas, with a deep dive into LTE. The second technical round was based on academic subjects studied, so be prepared for that; they will scrutinize your knowledge and may ask questions you don't know the answers to. The HR round was as expected, testing communication skills and background. It seems there's no cab facility.
- Tell me about your knowledge of LTE, VoLTE, and the antennas used in phones.
- Can you explain channel characteristics, active and passive devices, diodes, and transistors?
- What are your thoughts on OFDMA and CDMA?
RF Engineer
So, as a former employee, the interview for the RF Engineer role was pretty solid. They mostly asked questions about networking fundamentals and radio frequency concepts. It's generally an easy process if you've got a good handle on protocols and the basics of electronic communication. My advice is to throw in some examples during your interview.
- Can you tell me about bandwidth, CDMA, and protocols?
- What are your thoughts on salary?
