Applied via the company portal, then connected directly with the management team of the local office. Had a video call, followed by an in-person interview. Expected a structured process from an international company, but the local boss had full freedom in the local office. Seems disconnected from the bigger QSC, but good for him to tailor the team as he likes.

Fraudulent interview alert! Started with a Hackerrank Test for React.js and Node.js. Then a Hiring Manager Round. After that, a Coding follow-up with a foreign technical person on Hackerrank Video Call. HR mentioned two more Technical rounds, so possibly five-six rounds in total. The process was not smooth! Cleared the test except for one nodejs test case out of six, which I fixed during the test screening. The technical interview with the foreign interviewer went well, with positive feedback! But then the interview got stuck after 30 minutes and my laptop hanged. I had to restart it and told the Recruiter. The next day, they sent a rejection email due to network failure, laptop issues, etc.!

The recruiter reached out via email to schedule a time to chat, and they were clear and efficient. We then had a conversation, which was a pleasure. After that, I moved on to the next stages, which were also scheduled quickly and smoothly. The four individuals I spoke with throughout the interview process were very professional and polite. It was interesting to hear about their experiences and get different viewpoints and questions. Ultimately, they decided not to move forward with my application because I was overqualified for the role, but I had a great experience with the company and would recommend applying if a suitable position becomes available.

So, I went through a two-step interview process with QSC. First, I had a chat with Talent Acquisition, and then the second round was with the Hiring Manager. After chasing them a bit, they finally let me know the job was actually downgraded to a Junior Salesforce BA. Honestly, it felt like a big waste of time because they weren't upfront about it from the beginning. It would be way better if candidates knew the real expectations before jumping into interviews.
