First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at QPWB.
Legal Nurse Consultant
I was really hoping for an interview opportunity, but unfortunately, the interviewer ghosted me. After missing our scheduled time, I sent an email, and we set up a new time. However, the same thing happened again on the rescheduled date. It's been nearly three weeks, and I still haven't heard back. I'm very disappointed with this experience.

Attorney
I interviewed with the managing partner of the firm and the office manager. They were both very respectful and considerate during the interview, which lasted about thirty minutes. There will be a background check if an offer is extended.

- Could you give some examples of significant cases you handled previously?
Legal
After a recruiter contacted me, I went through an interview with the managing partner and an associate. The interview itself was very conversational and informative. Following an offer for a temporary position, there was a complete lack of communication; I received no further acknowledgment or interaction beyond emails. The onboarding was also difficult, with a full day needed just to get my computer working. I was left to figure things out independently, which made it impossible for anyone to succeed in securing a full-time role, especially with other staff members making bets on how long I would last while they were disengaged.

Legal Assistant
The managing partner interviewed me and wasn't sure what questions to ask to determine if I was a good fit for the role. Her legal assistant then took over the interview, demonstrating professionalism and a good understanding of how to conduct an interview properly.
