First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at QPS.
Clinical Data Manager
The initial interview was conducted online. The HR representative seemed quite interested, even mentioning the name for the subsequent interview round. Despite this, I received no follow-up communication from HR after the first interview.
- Can you describe your experience with managing large datasets?
Senior Specialist
It was a round of three different panel interviews. They were timely and thorough. Each interview lasted from 45 to 60 minutes. Each panel had at least three people and they were from different levels of position within the company.
- Can you share an instance where you made a mistake and how you addressed it?
- Would you be interested in a supervisory position?
- Could you introduce yourself and explain your interest in this role?
Associate Scientist
The first call with HR was pretty standard, the person was nice. The in-person interview, however, was not great. Some interviewers were leaving within 15 minutes of arriving while I was still answering questions, which made it seem like they didn't care. The worst part was being left alone in an interview room for 45 minutes with no one checking in. I had to go find someone myself, otherwise I would have been waiting for over an hour.
- Could you describe what your ideal supervisor would be like?
- Tell me about a time you encountered a conflict.
Research Scientist
We had some phone interviews first, and then we had to wait about 2-3 days to hear back. After that, there was a big panel interview with 15 people. I had to present for 45 minutes at the start, covering my background, previous work, and what I'm good at.
- Could you walk me through your work history?
- What's your experience working with CRO?
- What skills do you possess?
