First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at QPS Engineering.
Intern
I applied online and then got invited for an in-person interview. It was about an hour long and I met with 4 interviewers. I got an offer a week later.
- Technical questions were asked, including one about understanding how flow changes in pipes of different diameters.
Administrative Assistant
I interviewed with two managers, and then they had me do an Excel test. It was a pretty relaxed experience; they were friendly. The office was very casual, and I was overdressed. They were helpful, and there weren't any tough questions. We talked about the job, what my duties would be, and what they were looking for.
- Can you tell me about the job you currently have?
- Could you describe your responsibilities at your current job?
- What do you expect from this role?
Administrative Assistant
I had a face-to-face with the VP and project manager. After that, I had to do an Excel test. They asked the usual stuff about my experience, hours, and how the office operates.
- Can you share an instance where you successfully convinced someone to adopt your perspective?
- Describe your understanding of how this office functions.
- How do you approach managing your work hours?
Project Engineer
I sent in my resume via email and followed up to arrange a face-to-face interview. Once I arrived, I met with an HR person, then with the hiring manager. He discussed how I might fit into the team, and then I met with several other key personnel in the company.
- How do you feel about fitting into this work environment?
