Technical Lead
I attended a walk-in drive where technical recruiters/consultancies were present to guide candidates. The reception area was a bit cramped as multiple walk-in interviews were happening simultaneously. I was asked questions about Power BI and Scrum Master, indicating a focus on both technical expertise and project management skills.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your thoughts on these scenarios?
- Could you describe the projects you've undertaken?
Senior QA Engineer
Seriously, if you get a call from this company for an interview, I'd advise you to skip it, whether it's online or offline. In my 12 years of IT experience, this has been the worst company I've ever encountered. Even though I cleared both technical rounds, HR never got back to me, and they didn't respond even after I sent multiple emails. That's how they treat people. Just imagine how they'll treat employees. They lack basic manners, ethics, and common sense. I'm asking the CEO to sort out the organization's structure first before expanding. Fixing these internal issues is crucial for the company's growth and reputation. Some incompetent HR people are ruining the company's image. Please address this urgently, or the company will fail.
- Could you explain what SQL is?
- What does DDL stand for and what is it?
- What is DML?
Senior Test Analyst
The interview had 3 rounds, and HR confirmed I passed 2. HR said my profile was selected for the 1st and 2nd rounds and was being processed for the final HR round, essentially confirming the job. I had previously shared my expected CTC, but HR tried to renegotiate the salary offline before moving me to the 3rd round. I kept checking the status, and after 3 days of follow-ups, HR stated they hadn't received feedback for my 2nd round interview and never got back to me. This shows unprofessional HR ethics; one should stay true to work ethics to be a good employee.
- Can you tell me about basic Testing Methodologies?
- Do you have experience with SQL? Let's discuss basic SQL concepts.
- What are your thoughts on basic API Testing?
Engineering Manager
The interview process was pretty standard. We had a technical discussion first, then a chat with senior management, and finally an HR interview for negotiations. The technical part focused on architectural, design, and framework challenges, client handling, and team management. The senior management discussion was about the role itself and whether I was a good fit.
- Did you face any challenges in your architect role?
- Tell me about your experience with client management.
- What are your strategies for onsite and offshore management?
