Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at QBE.
Analyst
There were three interview rounds. It was a basic question and answer format, and since it was a junior position, it wasn't too hard. I admitted when I didn't have experience with certain topics. All interviews felt really quick, like they needed to hire someone fast.
- What are RTO and RPO, and what are the risks associated with backup and recovery?
Analyst
The interview process involved two rounds. It was a standard procedure, and nothing out of the ordinary. The interviews were conducted by the hiring manager and their respective managers. The process was straightforward, although it did take a considerable amount of time, which is typical for larger organizations.
- Can you share an instance where you made an error?
Analyst
The interview process was straightforward and efficient, with two rounds depending on the team and specific role. The second interview was more of a casual conversation to introduce you to the Head of the department and provide insights into the wider team. The recruiter was helpful and kept me informed throughout. Overall, it was a very smooth experience with no issues.
