Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at QA Engineering.
QA Engineer
I have given totally 4 rounds which are 2 technical and 2 managerial round, 1 managerial round was face to face , totally waste of time to giving interview here, if you are not serving notice period. After all the rounds done , they are telling like we wanted immediate Joiner only. Bad experience
- All technical questions related to the job description
Quality Assurance Engineer
So, I had this interview for a Quality Assurance Engineer role at Amazon, it was a non-SDE position. It was an on-campus thing. First, there was an online assessment, and after passing that, I got the interview call.
- Could you start by introducing yourself?
- Tell me more about your projects and any subsequent details.
- What are the various types of testing, and can you explain them further based on your answers?
QA Engineer
The interview process was good and very fast. They provide feedback after each round. This process can check the real ability of the candidate. I like the way the bosses interview here. Round 1 was a coding challenge, it was so interesting. Round 2 was an interview with the QA leader. Round 3 was an interview with the head of engineering.
- Coding challenge
- Discuss breaking test cases for manual and automation testing
- Assess culture fit with the head of engineering
