Had a 30-minute phone call with someone from India. They didn't really dive into the experience needed, just explained the role and asked for a writing sample. Salary wasn't discussed, and they didn't seem to have much info on that either.

It was a smooth process, mostly focused on Python programming and data science, with a strong emphasis on machine learning and deep learning. They also asked about GenAI concepts like Langchain, Langsmith, Open, and Transformers, as well as RAG. We discussed the project I built for ANN churn prediction and its deployment.

It was a pretty relaxed interview, mostly general questions relevant to the role. I met with three people in total, and the interview was held in a small office. The interviewers seemed to be from HR, a Manager, and a Senior Manager. I had my main interview with the Manager.

The people I spoke with were really nice, but the interview process wasn't clear about the job duties and pay. When I tried to ask about the responsibilities and compensation during the interviews, they kind of avoided the questions. Then, when the compensation was finally in the contract, it was way too low for the experience they wanted.
