Technical Recruiter
It's a 2-round telephonic interview followed by an HR discussion. Then there's one more telephonic round, after which you'll meet with the manager and HR for salary discussions. After that, it's documentation, and then the offer will be released. Sometimes they'll have a video call interview, and it's all virtual.
- Can you introduce yourself and discuss your previous experience?
Technical Writer
A recruiter from Pyramid Solutions reached out after seeing my resume on Careerbuilder. I expressed interest and set up a phone interview. It went well and I was told I was one of fifteen people selected for a large contract. A few days later, the recruiter mentioned some strategic rethinking about start dates and promised an update in a day or two. After a few more days, I emailed with no response. A week later, I called his business and cell numbers with no answer. I don't know what happened, but his behavior was very unprofessional. Even if the rethinking meant I didn't get the job, I would have preferred to be told rather than ignored. I would avoid this company.
- Can you describe your experience with content development?
Full Stack Developer
I interviewed about two weeks ago. The first round was a phone call where they asked DS and Algo questions like Permutations of String, reverse a linked list, and something about arrays. I did well, so they invited me for a technical discussion after 10 days. When I got there, I waited 20 minutes, and no one was at the front desk. I asked an employee who told me to give them my resume to pass along to HR. After 10 minutes, someone came to ask JS questions. I mentioned I hadn't worked with JS but knew some concepts, yet they continued asking JS questions. I was applying for a full stack role, but there was no backend discussion at all. They finished after 45 minutes and said HR would provide feedback, but HR never followed up. It's okay if I don't get selected, but I wish they'd been clearer.
