Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pyramid Consulting Group, LLC.
Associate Recruiter
The interview started 15 minutes late, which was inconvenient as I had a time constraint. The questions were typical, but then I was given a written test to analyze resumes with only 20 minutes, which felt inefficient. It would be better if this test was computer-based and candidates were informed about the total time commitment. I struggled to finish it. Afterward, there was no follow-up email to indicate the outcome, which is surprising for a recruiting firm that should prioritize candidate communication. It felt like a waste of my time.
- What unique value do you offer?
- Can you describe your strengths and weaknesses?
- How would you analyze a resume?
Recruiter
Had 2 in-person interviews at the NYC office with the SVP and CEO. The interviews were mainly about company culture. They believe they can train you to be a recruiter, but fitting in with the team is most important.
- Can you tell me about your background and experience?
Recruiter
Worst interview experience ever. The process dragged on for nearly three months. They were totally inconsiderate of my time and frankly, disrespectful. They put me through 5 in-person interviews and 2 phone interviews before deciding on someone else. That's fine, but their process was just wrong. They'd leave me hanging for weeks without responding to my follow-ups, then ask me to come in last minute, which meant I had to miss five days of work. After all that, they ghosted me, never responding to my emails or even telling me they chose another candidate.
- Can you share your main strength and your biggest weakness?
- What is it that drives you?
- What makes you want to work for Pyramid Consulting?
