First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pye-Barker Fire & Safety.
IT Infrastructure Manager
So I had an interview process that felt pretty standard. In the first round, the hiring manager, who was the CTO, seemed to like me and wanted me to move on. However, after a few days of no contact, the recruiter reached out to say they weren't proceeding with my application. Apparently, they didn't give any specific reason why. This sudden change of mind without explanation struck me as quite unprofessional.

Data Analyst
the job requirements and expectations were described in a detailed and accurate way, but since they weren't sure if they needed more people, it felt like a bit of a waste of time. their uncertainty led to some miscommunication between the interviewer and me.

Help Desk Technician
Did an online interview for about 30 minutes. They asked a bunch of questions like how I would escalate a problem, tell me about myself, a time when things didn’t go my way, how I would explain something to someone with little knowledge, and how I am with high stress situations.
- What are the most crucial qualities for a helpdesk technician, and how do you demonstrate them?
Inspector
