So I had an interview process that felt pretty standard. In the first round, the hiring manager, who was the CTO, seemed to like me and wanted me to move on. However, after a few days of no contact, the recruiter reached out to say they weren't proceeding with my application. Apparently, they didn't give any specific reason why. This sudden change of mind without explanation struck me as quite unprofessional.
