Behavioral Case

It was a long interview process, with 4-5 interviews over about 6-7 weeks. They told me upfront it would be a lengthy process, so I guess that's fair, but I'm still not sure why it took so long. The interviews were mainly about 'culture fit' and felt a bit like a waste of my time, as they kept asking the same questions and reminding me how fast-paced agency work is. Talking to Lindsay, who I would have reported to, was good though, and I got a better sense of the role, expectations, and challenges from her. Everyone was nice, and the team was accommodating when calls dropped due to bad connections. Overall, though, it was frustrating because there were long periods with no feedback. I got the usual call saying they were moving forward with other candidates a few weeks after my last interview.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied online and also got referred by a Pursuant employee on Linkedin. First, I had a phone interview with HR, then another phone interview with the hiring manager. During these calls, I was told there wasn't a position available but they like to hire good people and keep their jobs listed. After that, I had lunch with two employees and then met the hiring manager in person at the office and spoke with two more staff members. Ultimately, a position did open up, but it wasn't offered to me. About 3 days later, I got a call offering me a position.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was super thorough with lots of meetings with different people across the company. They really seemed to care about finding someone who fit the culture as well as having the right skills. It took longer than I expected, but it felt worth the wait. It was important to both me and them that we were a good match. I liked how much thought they put into the process. They asked some hard questions and gave honest feedback, which I appreciated because I'd rather know the challenges upfront.
