First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PuroClean.
Project Manager
It was a pretty relaxed interview, mostly going over my resume. The interviewer, who was the owner, asked about my experience and explained what they were looking for in the role.
- Can you tell me about each of your past jobs?
- What prompted your departure from each previous position?
- What duties did you perform at those jobs?
Office Manager
It was a pretty standard interview process. They wanted to know about my capabilities both inside and outside the office, if I could handle working non-traditional hours, my typing speed, and my educational background. A big focus was understanding how my military experience could be beneficial in an office and fleet environment, and also assessing my ability to perform under pressure.
- Are you able to collaborate effectively with colleagues?
Marketing and Events Coordinator
My interview experience began really well. I applied on LinkedIn and heard back from the team quickly, within a few days. First, I had a good phone chat, then a second interview with two people from the team. Both chats felt friendly and interesting, and I felt really positive about the job and the company afterward. But after that second interview, I heard nothing back, even though they hinted at possibly a third, in-person round. I followed up a few times over two weeks, but no one got back to me or let me know what happened. I get that things can change internally or with roles, but it's a bummer to go through several interview steps and then have zero communication. Even a quick update, good or bad, would have been nice to show they valued my time.
- From a marketing and event coordination standpoint, how would you contribute to our Annual Conference?
Restoration Technician
They asked me about my training and certifications, how long I've been working in this field, and why I'd be a good fit for the role. They also offered refreshments, which made me feel comfortable and confident about accepting the position.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
