First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PUMA.
Supervisor
I went through three interviews for this job. Weirdly, I made it all the way to the paperwork stage and was then told I didn't get the position. Later, I learned I lost out to someone who wasn't even ready to start when I was available right away. The whole thing was pretty stressful and honestly, not really worth the pay. But, the actual work environment seems really welcoming and upbeat.
- Tell me about how you've dealt with stressful situations involving coworkers, providing extreme detail.
- Tell me about how you've dealt with stressful situations involving customers, providing extreme detail.
Regional Operations Manager
It was a 4-round interview process. I spoke with my reporting manager, HR, a skip-level manager, and finally the CEO. Each of the Zoom calls was about 30 minutes long. Overall, it was a really good learning experience and Puma seems like a great organization.
- Can you share some information about your personality traits?
- Can you describe a specific situation you encountered and how you dealt with it?
- What are your technical skills?
Supervisor
I talked to the assistant manager, who was nice and asked a lot of questions. She seemed to like my answers, but then she told me I had to call the store manager. That manager ignored all my calls and never called me back. I wish I had at least gotten a response, even if it was to say I didn't get the job.
- Can you tell me about an accomplishment from your current job that you're particularly proud of?
