Senior Marketing Manager
We introduced ourselves and our roles. I talked about my previous jobs and experience. We both asked and answered questions. We wrapped up the interview by discussing next steps, salary expectations, etc. The interview was held online via video call.
- What aspects of this role would you find most enjoyable?
Marketing Manager
After a lot of chasing unresponsive HR and hiring manager, I had two interview rounds with Puma. The whole thing took 2.5 months. First round was fine, but then HR and the hiring manager messed up starting from the second round. The interviewer didn't even show up for the second round. HR was unresponsive even after multiple follow-ups. After I contacted the interviewer multiple times and they finally responded, HR emailed after a month asking me to submit a project. They gave no info about the brand and the project wasn't even for the role I applied for. When I pointed this out, HR reluctantly set up another interview (I had to mark the others from the original email). The hiring manager interviewed me and verbally gave me another project, which I submitted on time. Again, my follow-up emails went unanswered. Puma never sent an acknowledgment. Now, three weeks ago, I've been put on hold because they're looking for someone more suitable, although my application is apparently still in the system and not rejected. Great job Puma, India!
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- What campaigns have you worked on?
- Develop a project plan to increase sales of the Women's Business by 50% in 2023.
Marketing Manager
The interview process involved a video interview, a phone interview, and an in-person meeting. The in-person part was quite strange and uncomfortable because it took place in the middle of the store with shoppers around. The questions they asked weren't typical interview questions, and I didn't like that part at all.
- What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
