The interview process was very unprofessional and the interviewers were rude. I got a verbal offer after an interview and coding test, and was told I'd get it in writing soon. However, they delayed for three weeks and then offered me 15K less than expected. I suspect this is a tactic to get you to accept a lower offer. Four months later, they emailed to ask if I was still interested in interviewing. I agreed, but then they emailed again at 10 AM asking if I could come for an interview the same day. I couldn't because I was at work. I eventually went that afternoon around 6 PM, and the office was busy, suggesting a poor work-life balance. I never heard back after the fourth interview. The recruiter, A.P PhD, also seemed unprofessional.

Behavioral

It was quick and easy, with the first and second interviews happening back-to-back. The first interview was with two leads, and the second was with a manager. They were very personable and asked questions about family life, goals, and values. The group was friendly, and the dress code was laid-back and casual (jeans and nice shirts, but no sneakers). Piercings and tattoos were okay, and many people showed them off.

Got a message from a recruiter for a first chat. Then another call about 4 weeks later with the same recruiter to go over things more and set up a conference call with the VP of Tech and the CIO. The leadership call was kinda weird, like they didn't seem super into it. Two weeks after that, I had a 1:1 Skype with the CIO, who talked to me for a bit and then offered me the job. I turned it down 'cause I had another offer, but they came back with a better salary, even more than they said they could pay.

Got a phone call invite from the dept. manager, who reviewed me for 45 minutes. Then, the dept. manager did a company walk-through for 30 minutes. After that, the dept. manager had the floor supervisor review me in a sit down for 1 hour. Finally, the dept. manager told me by phone it'll take 2 weeks to make the final call.
