The interview process had about 3-4 interviews, with each person asking background questions for around 30 minutes. They said they'd reply in 2 weeks, but it took 3 weeks and I got no feedback. I sent thank you notes but heard nothing back. They are a sales company and only hire people interested in sales. They stressed no hybrid work and the importance of learning about valves and processes. They are picky even for a training program, and I felt it was a 'good ole boy' environment, not welcoming to minorities. Despite good entry-level pay, it's conservative. I hope they hire more minorities and become less conservative. I wonder if lying would have gotten me hired.

The interview process was great. They seemed to do a good job screening for "fit" and experience. I managed to turn the inquisition into a conversation, as recommended by job search groups. I was eventually hired, but there was about a three-month delay, and critically, I wasn't hired as a permanent employee. I think their cautious and slow approach helps them filter out candidates who won't measure up, but it still felt like it took too long. Current employees mentioned this is typical. After I started, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Just make sure they commit to you as much as you commit to them.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was pretty straightforward, starting with a review of my resume and some questions about the company's business and market trends. They also delved into my background and personal life, emphasizing that sales attitude is crucial. It's important to be well-prepared and able to "sell yourself" as that makes all the difference. Expect about 2 or 3 interviews with different manager teams, where they'll ask similar questions. Don't hesitate to explain why you're the perfect fit for the company.

First, I was contacted by their head recruiter. I had an initial interview with him and my potential manager. Then I came back for a second interview with upper management. Puffer likes to have you interview with different managers from different departments to get a feel for your personality and true qualifications. The whole process took about 3 weeks. I got the offer about two weeks later.
