Customer Success Manager
The interview process here was awful- be warned! After having a virtual interview and in person round with the CTV team (who were lovely for what it is worth) I had to hound HR for an update on the status of the role. After having to continuously follow up and hearing nothing, I was told by HR I did not get the job- disapointing ,but it happens. The next day HR reaches out to tell me they made a mistake and that I was still being considered for the role and that I would hear back by the end of the week. After that interaction, I was ghosted entirely, had to reach out again weeks later, only to be told again the role was filled by someone else. This is the most unprofessional HR team I have ever been plagued to have to work with and one of the odder interactions I've had in the job search.
- What innovations do you anticipate emerging in the CTV space in the future and how would you utilize them for a campaign?
Customer Success Manager
I applied and then scheduled a phone screening with HR. She called a full day early, which I thought was my mistake, but it wasn't. I emailed her to confirm the correct time for the next day, and she agreed. The next day, she called 25 minutes early again. I called back 5 minutes late and left a voicemail. About 40 minutes later, I emailed to see if she was still available to talk that day. She never replied, and I got an automated rejection email. I didn't get to prepare properly, and she wasn't professional or helpful. It's frustrating when people can't stick to a schedule.
- Tell me about your experience with video.
Customer Success Manager
It was a really quick process, only about 2 weeks from when I sent my resume to the last interview. The recruiters kept me in the loop the whole time. The in-person interview was great; the recruiters were super professional and friendly, which made me even more sure about joining because I know the team will be treated well. The team I interviewed with was also impressive, with a lot of talent and experience, which really solidified my decision to accept the offer.
- Describe a time you faced an ambiguous situation and how you handled it.
- Imagine a publisher is unhappy with their revenue. How would you address this situation?
