The interview process started with an initial screen interview, followed by a panel interview with five other members of management. The screen interview with Ali was fantastic and provided the best experience, giving me all the necessary information to prepare for the panel interview the next morning. I was glad for the panel interview format as it shortened the process by avoiding individual meetings with each DM.

The team is super nice and it seems like a really diverse and inclusive place to work. The interview process involves a group interview, followed by interviews with 3-4 managers. You'll also need to prepare and deliver a PowerPoint presentation about yourself. One odd thing is that they often hold group hiring events but don't end up hiring many people. They also check references, and one of my references mentioned they were asked if they were interested in working with the company, which I thought was a bit unusual for a reference check.

It was a zoom interview that quickly went south when they posted the states they are hiring from and I don't live in one of those states. I didn't know, and I, along with someone else, got visibly upset. They cut me off but emailed me later saying that I should have known, and shared with me one of their ads showing where one should live based on a list of cities. I emailed back with my apology and also that I didn't see that kind of ad because the ads they put in indeed.com don't mention this limitation. They need to be more up front about this. I am left with a bad impression of them.

It was a four-step interview process. First, I completed an online questionnaire which took about 45 minutes. Next, I had a phone call with the hiring manager where we discussed my resume in detail, verifying dates, experience, and skills. The in-person interviews were held at the office. I met with three people and also had the opportunity to shadow a sales associate to gauge my interest in the role. The overall experience was very positive. They prioritize candidates who align with their company culture, looking for integrity, a proactive team approach, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. I found the interview process unique and highly enjoyable.
