Before getting hired, there were a few steps to the interview process. You'll talk with different leaders and managers throughout. Each leader was looking for certain skills and wanted to see how you've used them in your work and on tasks.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a standard multi-step interview, first with HR then the hiring manager. I researched both PCF and the client we'd be working with. I even brought the client's product with me to the in-person interview, which was something other candidates hadn't done, so going the extra mile seems important.

There were three interviews. The first one was a phone call with the recruiter. The second one was with the Supervising Manager. The third interview was with both the Supervising Manager and a Senior Director. You get a tour of the warehouse you might be working in and meet some of the staff there. They usually show you a map of your territory and give you some data about it. If you don't have any more questions, they let you go and tell you roughly when you can expect to hear back.

I sent my resume and then got a call from HR a couple weeks later. The first phone call seemed to be more about hearing how I sounded on the phone since the job was in a call center for customer service. She asked some basic questions and then set up an in-person interview.

  • What would you do if you encountered a problem and your manager or supervisor wasn't around?
