After applying online, I got a call the next day. The first step was a phone screen with the District Manager where they asked about my ability to do the job, my background, and then set up an in-person interview for the following week. I'd suggest practicing STAR method questions for the face-to-face. It felt a bit repetitive, but if you answer well and describe your experience, you should be fine. After meeting with the DM, I interviewed with the Regional Manager. They asked similar questions but quicker, like an in-person screening. Then there was a background check, drug test, and a walkthrough of the location to see the daily operations.

I applied to Public Storage and had a phone interview. After passing that, I went in for a face-to-face with the DM. The regional manager was there too and interviewed me at the same time, which was great because otherwise I would have had another phone screen and face-to-face with him. They told me their plans for me and why they needed me, and asked a lot of personal questions. I got an offer on the spot! It felt good to be recognized. I was hired within a week and did my background check and drug test. Today is my first day!

Met with the District Manager at a public storage location. We discussed job duties and responsibilities, and I was asked simple questions about customer service and selling products. Got a quick overview of property locations and the hourly salary. The manager then asked me to demonstrate a selling technique on a randomly selected item. I also met the current relief and property managers at the locations. It was a very informal and straightforward interview process. The District Manager wanted to set up another meeting with me and another property manager for the next day to learn more about and view the location they wanted me to work at. Drove to the location the next day and toured the property. The current manager gave an informal rundown of the position and its requirements. I got a call the following day to meet with the District Manager again, and I was offered the position. Filled out paperwork and had a drug test done the same day. Started work the following Monday and went through a long training process with videos, a questionnaire, and simple tests. It was a very easy process and the job requirements were very basic initially.
