So I had this interview where the first step was a hiring manager call. They talked a lot about the job and asked about my past experience. Then, they sent me this take-home assignment that was super unclear. It involved gathering data, cleaning it, and figuring out an ML model. I worked on it non-stop for 5 days, and then Public Storage just canceled my application. Seriously, don't work for this company unless you want to do free work for people who don't appreciate your effort. If they offer you a callback, make sure they'll actually review your take-home before you agree to do it.

The interview process started well with the first round, which was a technical screen. The second round involved a take-home challenge. If I had passed that, the next step would have been to walk through the challenge and other aspects. I finished the take-home challenge but didn't proceed to the subsequent round.
