After I submitted my resume, I got an email requesting an interview. The interviewer seemed really interested in me during our Zoom chat and then she immediately asked me to do a writing assessment, which I did. It was weird, I never heard back after sending the assessment. Not even a quick "got it, thanks." It seems like I'm not the only one who got ghosted by this company. Be careful.

I never got past the initial phone interview and writing assessment. I got an email from HR telling me they wanted to do a phone interview with me a week after I applied online. The recruiter mentioned that I was a stronger candidate than most because I have a Master's degree while many new employees only have college degrees. A few days later, they sent me a writing and Powerpoint-critique assessment to complete within 75 minutes of receiving it, which I did. But after sending back the assessment, I never heard from them again. I sent 2 follow-up emails about my status and made 3 phone calls to the HR recruiter (all voicemail). But after 4 weeks of silence since our last contact, I gave up. I received a standard rejection email a few days ago, 6 weeks after my last contact with a staff member. It's frustrating that I heard nothing back for so long. At least let me know I'm not moving on.

You'll interview with a few folks, and the whole thing should take a couple of hours. Expect to chat with HR and probably someone who's mid-level. Make sure you have your own questions ready to ask them.

So the HR person was supposed to set up an interview, but then they totally ghosted me. They gave some excuse about 'the partners worrying that someone with a PhD will get bored with the job.' Also, they straight-up lied and said I'd be contacted when a higher-level job opened up.
