I met with the CEO, president, and 3 team members in a boardroom. They asked me questions for about an hour. They were friendly. I had 2 follow up interviews.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was very long and involved many steps. After finishing one part, I was asked to do 2-3 more. It was a bit frustrating to have to take time off work multiple times for interviews. I was concerned that in this day and age, the company was using such an old-fashioned hiring method. They seem to be stuck in the past, proud of their past achievements but not focusing on current needs. Clients today want future results, not stories about what was done yesterday. Only one of the six people I spoke with seemed up-to-date.

I found the job on their website and sent in my application. A VP reached out and we had a quick chat over the phone. After that, I had a couple more interviews and a writing test, and then they gave me an offer.

The people were all charming. It rubbed me the wrong way about the amount of unpaid work that is asked of the applicants. Shortly after a third round, I was told that they went with someone with more experience in an area they did not ask me much about. Overall I feel like I was given the runaround.
