I applied for the Business System Analyst – Salesforce role at PTC on August 21st. The first interview was on September 1st. After that, communication was unclear. The job was reposted on LinkedIn twice while I was waiting for feedback. I followed up with HR the second week after my interview and was told interviews were still ongoing. I followed up again in the third week, and HR said they would update me the following week, but I never heard back. The whole process felt really unprofessional. Candidates should get timely communication and closure, not be left without updates. This kind of ghosting is a bad experience and leaves a negative impression of the company's hiring.

The interview process was quick & stress-free. I had been referred by an employee; this helped speed up the interview and hiring process. My interviewer was kind and showed genuine interest in the skills and experience I had to offer. Once I accepted the offer, the recruiting team was prompt and checked back often to ensure that all documents were submitted in a timely manner. The recruitment department was very efficient and helpful.

I was contacted by a recruiter from PTC. The company is moving its HQ, so I was understanding about the communication delays, especially around the holidays. However, communication was sparse, and I had to do most of the follow-ups. After a phone screening with the hiring manager, the recruiter was supposed to schedule a follow-up visit, but it took a week. This pattern of setting expectations and not meeting them continued. I was given a date and time to meet with a panel, but upon arrival, I learned only one person could attend in person, and the rest joined by phone, which was awkward. Towards the end, I met the hiring manager but was cut off before I could finish. The recruiter walked me out and said I'd hear back that evening or the next day. After not hearing back for a few days, I followed up on Monday, then again on Wednesday, feeling disrespected after taking a day off for the interview and then waiting a week when I was told I'd hear back in 1-2 days. When the recruiter finally responded, it was a brief message saying they chose another candidate without any feedback. I thanked him and asked for more feedback, but he never replied. It was a really bad experience due to poor communication and unmet expectations. I felt unimportant and that my time wasn't valued, and the feedback was minimal. Honestly, one of the worst interview processes ever.
