It was a very long selection process. The interview was a video call with the camera off. I had to send several emails to the recruiter to get information because the timelines they gave me were never met.

The interviews were 3 rounds. First HR, they explained the search and selection steps. Mostly in Spanish, at the end some questions in English. Then with the regional manager, all in English, asking my doubts about the job and some questions about the CV. The last interview with the local manager, in Spanish, explaining about the job, at the end questions in English.

The selection process involves three interviews. First, an introductory interview in English with HR. Second, a very technical interview in English with the Principal Biostatistician and the chief. Third, a purely bureaucratic-administrative interview where the contract and the work itself at the location of interest are discussed.

Behavioral Technical

It started with a quick call from HR, just some basic questions. Then, there was a really, really technical 1+ hour interview with two statisticians. They asked a ton of rapid-fire questions about statistical principles, clinical trials, regulatory guidelines, and SAS. The interviewers were super cold and seemed to care more about whether I could give the right answer immediately than anything else. It felt more like a test than an interview. They weren't as interested in my background or work experience, just my ability to answer tough technical questions on the spot. Honestly, it didn't feel like a great place to work.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Tell me about your technical knowledge regarding statistical principles.
  • Can you discuss your experience with clinical trials from a technical standpoint?
  • What are your technical insights into regulatory guidelines?
