Technical Behavioral

Applied for a job at PSC Group, they seemed good with retention, safety, and training. Got a text to fast track, I said yes. Then a video response to questions, which was a bit weird but okay. Scheduled an online interview via Calendly for a week later. The day of, 10 minutes before, the interview was canceled by email, saying the position was canceled, even though it was still online. I figured that was that. Then got another text saying they were still interested. I replied because I need work, but got no reply. Emailed HR, still nothing. Called the number, left voicemails twice, no call back. So I messaged them on social media explaining the communication issues and the broken process. The next day, HR called and we did a quick phone interview, then scheduled an onsite for Thursday. I prepped for it, knew the location, routes, time, and who to ask for. On Thursday, I got there early, dressed up, brought extra resumes. Greeted by a worker who pointed me to the POC. When I introduced myself and mentioned the 9:00 am interview, it caused a stir because they didn't know I was coming. The person I was supposed to meet no longer worked there, and they only interview on Fridays, not Thursdays. The people on the ground were nice, apologized, and asked if I could come back the next day, Friday. I agreed and went back. The interview itself went well, and they seemed interested, as was I. They mentioned some things not in the posting: needing to be clean-shaven for working with Ethanol and wearing a respirator, and needing steel-toed boots (they offer some reimbursement). After the interview, they said I could contact HR with questions, and they'd get answers from the site if needed. I emailed HR about my composite-toe boots, asking if they'd work since I'm unemployed and trying to save money. I said I'd get steel-toed ones if necessary. After that, I was completely ghosted. No replies to my question, just silence. I wouldn't recommend them because their internal communication is broken and their practices are shady.

The interview process included straightforward questions and a technical interview with a supervisor. The interviewer was super. I highly recommend this company based on the good benefits, pay, and 401(k). I really like the job.

Got a call and it was pretty good, they kept in touch and told me what was up. First call was just chatting about my past jobs, what I wanna do, and some made-up stuff to see how I'd handle it. Then I had a video call with the recruiter. After that, they sent me an invite for an in-person interview. Went to the plant and met with a group of people, like my boss-to-be, the recruiter, and some others. They were all super nice, answered everything I asked, and made me feel chill even though it was a panel. It was actually pretty fun and I think I did great.
