First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PS Energy.
Logistics Coordinator
The interview process was long, with several interviews and took about 5-7 weeks to complete. The questions were pretty easy and the overall process was smooth. The CEO was very nice and seemed very intelligent and dedicated to picking the correct candidate.
- What are your dislikes regarding dispatching?
Marketing
Had a one-on-one with the supervisor. Felt like a lot of the questions were intended to intimidate and showed arrogant superiority. I completed application and competency tests. The interview was quick and I didn't get any feedback on my chances.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Accounting Manager
First, you'll meet with the President/CEO and Controller. This is for a temp-to-hire position. The interview will be at the business's location, so you'll get to see the offices. The President should let you ask questions about the business. The Controller shouldn't mention working 70-hour weeks to you. Even if they clarify it's not expected of direct reports, it could still sound like they're setting expectations.
- Can you describe your experience?
- What was the volume of transactions you managed?
- How many direct reports did you have?
Operations
The interview process was briefly explained. It was well planned and they provided background knowledge of the company to give an overview. The Director was friendly and motivating for new employees to groom them up.
- Do you prefer working in a team or as a solo player?
