First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pryor Cashman.
Summer Associate
We had a first interview with a partner from the executive committee. Then, a second interview with four attorneys with different seniority levels. It was all pretty chill and everyone was nice and easy to chat with. No one asked anything tough.
- What is your motivation for joining this firm?
Paralegal
First, I talked to HR. Then, I went in to chat with two partners about the role, which was new for the department. There wasn't a skills test.
- Can you tell me about your experience and how it fits this new role?
Summer Associate
I had a short 20-minute interview that felt pretty conversational. But, the partner I interviewed with was incredibly rude and took a facetime call during our talk. He was on the facetime for a solid 5 minutes and didn't even say sorry.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What led you to pursue law school?
Legal Secretary
I sent in my application via my university's career website. About a week after, I got an email asking for a phone interview. The call itself was about 20 minutes long and was pretty conversational.
- Were you asked the usual interview questions?
